GOSSIP GIRL by IZM
Gossip Girl keeps getting better. So [I like to think this way] are my portrait-drawing skills. Since I don't own a television and skins series 4 is over, now I only have GG to look up to, wich is every monday.
I recommend reading the Daily Intel/NYmag's Gossip Girl recaps after watching, they write a funny and fun reality index every week.
I love the characters, the wardrobe and NYC - and the way they're presented in the show. That's why I felt motivated to draw portraits of the main cast, and handled their portrais a bit differently: I portrayed them as the characters, not as their own beings. It's more interesting to me, since I don't give a damn about their private life and public appearances, and asides from Taylor Momsen who mixes the real-life and the character persona, everybody is more reconizable as their play parts.
Sorry, no Dan Humphrey, Vanessa Abrahams or Hilary Duff. Not characters/people over 30 too. I know Blake Lively looks like it sometimes, but whatever. I'm thinking about portraying Dorota & Vanya, tho.
