It's over a month now since the last serpent squiggle in Cyberia. The usual quota of words were diverted to adventures in Camp Nanowrimo and then there were assorted online courses requiring attention. But the biggest distraction of all was the arrival and departure of dearest Daisy Dursley and her family. Even managed to slink down south for a few days with the serpent's sister.
While it is always nice to reunite with family after several years since last seeing them, this time together was much more precious due to the fact that the three of them arrived in July on a Malaysia Airlines flight and lived to tell the tale. They've also returned home safely with the same carrier.
Then this week was the great temptation of the annual Save the Children book sale. Yet more stuff to read and all at bargain basement prices.
There's also lots of online reading to catch up on. There are so many interesting posts that I've read and wanted to leave comments.
Been invited to Petunia's place tonight so it's time to procrastinate for yet another day.
