Auctioning Fanart at qldfloodaction

Jan 16, 2011 16:28

The people over at qldfloodauction (and the folks on fandom_flood_ap) have been organising an auction to raise money to help all the people and animals affected by the recent floods in Australia. They are much like help_haiti and help_pakistan, where people offer their fannish goods and services in exchange for money which is donated to a number of charities. A brilliant idea, really. I participated on help_haiti 's auction as an offerer, not having any of my own money to give away. (I drew this, for the record)

I have put up a thread here, where I offer to draw you fanart for just about everything I've ever read and watched and liked. Do have a look, there are many fandoms and I'm definitely going to try my best for any bidders. Have a look as well at all the many other offers and consider making your own!

Last but not least, don't forget that Australia's not the only one affected. Check out helpbrazil2011. The Brazilians too need all the help they can get!

(I'll see how this goes. WHY ARE THERE SO MANY AUCTIONS. I feel tempted to offer at them all. :/)
