On my way to work, I was listening (as I sometimes do) to the local Christian radio station. They don't play great music, but it's better than some of the other stations, and the Morning Show amuses me.
So they were taking calls from people with suggestions on how to save money on technology (computers, etc). I'm listening to this one call, and realize that the instrumental music they're playing underneath the conversation sounds REALLY familiar.
A few moments later, I work my way through the beat and decipher the melody: it's the theme from The X-Files.
On this conservative little Christian station.
And yes, I'm sure; that particular flutey theme is unmistakable.
