A thousand pages, er? Whew! I don't read as fast as I used to, and I just bought three books..... BUT.... I'm putting it on my "to read" list. I like choosing books that have been recommended by others. Thank you for introducing it to us.

I took several weeks to read this book, and I'm a fairly fast reader. :) But because it's make up of so many stories over such great periods of time, it's not hard to put down and come back to, if you need to.
