I HATE when people warn for character death. I never really encountered it until the Supernatural fandom, but I feel like it totally ruins the punch of the story if you know how it's going to go ahead of time. I'll even go so far as to not read such fics, because if I already know the ending, well, what's the point?

Oh, I never say who's going to die (and who says that's the end of the story? *g*). Generic warnings only. And that's because I was trained in TS fandom--where, if you failed to warn for death, you'd get yourself ostracized from that mailing list!
