In conclusion: I'm not sure any of us will ever watch "Parting of the Ways" in quite the same way again. :-D

Some of us will, but only because we saw it that way to begin with. :)

Well, me too, actually, since I came into Who fandom via rj_anderson's fic, which conditioned me to believe in the sentience of the TARDIS. So I did think that the Bad Wolf "My Doctor" was at least as much TARDIS as Rose.

But man, it is nice to have it vindicated in canon, isn't it?

What a beautiful episode.

I think there's pretty good canonical evidence of the TARDIS' sentience as far back as 1963, so to my mind it wasn't something that needed to be vindicated in canon, but, oh, was it nice to see it illustrated in canon. :)

(And, man, I have never gotten so much use out of this icon. :))

1. "Did you wish really hard?" / "SHUT UP!"
2. Confirmation that Time Lords can indeed become Time Ladies.
3. The offhanded remark about how he just let another Ood die. Whoops!
4. Bunk beds. Oh, Doctor.
5. Rory is totally the pretty one.

1. I laughed So. Hard.

4. Oh ye gods. :) I like bunk beds, too, Doctor, but you need to give the married couple a really nice king-size bed or something.

5. Damn straight he is. *pets gorgeous Rory*
