You guys, I can't stop watching Blakes 7Well, I have to, now that I've plowed right through all the episodes I have! *g* But my brain is full of Blake and Vila and Avon and Servalan and Travis (complaints about #2 later), and I have the main title theme playing on kind of annoying repeat in my head

As someone who was pretty much into slash at the time, my attitude with Avon and Blake was that it didn't really matter whether you slashed them or not, because... yeah. The twisted emotional dynamics where there either way. It was just a question of what angles you wanted to approach it from. :)

If you want Vila h/c fic, I recommend checking out some of vilakins' stuff. She writes lovely Vila, and always believes in having some c with her h. :) And has anybody pointed you towards the Hip Deep in Heroes fic archive yet?

It took me a while to get this into the show; I've liked it from the start, but I think I had to be with the characters for a bit before I really fell for them, and for the show itself.

Re: Avon and Blake: yeah, I can see that, I guess. I just...heh. When a scene from a show like this, just conversation between two characters, leaves me unable to breathe, it's...yeah. Geez. *<3 Blake & Avon*

In fact, I must go find me an icon for those two. I think I have one open icon space....

Ah yes, vilakins, thank you for the reminder. And I shall have to go poking about that archive--I knew about it, but hadn't been trawling for fic yet, since I was trying to watch more show first. (Also: I've been spoiled for quite a few major events later in the series, including the end of "Blake," and now I'm sort of trying to forget what I know, not because I want to be unspoiled, but because now that I know these characters some of what I've heard is making me cringe really, really hard. NGH. AVON.)

Maybe; I've no idea, really, whether you would like this show. 70s British sci-fi, sort of; with effects that are reminiscent (though slight better) than early Doctor Who. Remind me of your feelings towards dystopian futures. (I do think you'd like Vila. And quite possibly Blake as well; Avon you might like too much. *g*)

I can do dystopias as long as they're not too doomy. I have heard stories about Vila and Avon. I think I sort of like them already. *grin*

Weeeeelllll....B7 is pretty freakin' doomy. Seriously. Far more doomy than any of the shows we currently share, that's for darn sure (yes, including SPN).

I'll bring the pilot ep next time I come, and we'll see if you go \o/ or O_o
