I am dead of tired.
But I just got back from the Roxy, where I saw the band West Indian Girl, plus two very cool opening acts (His Orchestra and Julliette Commagere--
whitemartyr, you would love the sound of Julliette). Lots of music very well performed. The friend I went with aired the idea that there's nothing quite as optimistic as a rock concert, and to some extent I agree. As long as people are making art, the world feels like a place well worth living in. We feel free.
That makes me happy. Even if I am one of the walking dead right now.
