Wheeee! I brought in the mail when I got home this evening, and amongst the bills was a CD-sized box from mistraltoes, containing the next 4 episodes of Blake's 7 for me! Thank you thank you thank you! *dances*

Speaking of Avon, I think I'm beginning to see his appeal. He really can snark quite nicely, although sometimes his comments are rather unsettling

Yes, he is one of the Masters of Snark.

Blake is a very persistent man.

Looking at Blake's determination in that episode, he's admirable.

Oh, Vila. *facepalm*
(grin) Yep.

I've noticed in myself a warm affection for Gan.
Gan is good, yes. The "general good nature" keeps going, and is a rare and precious thing in that universe.

Again re: Avon: I think I'm in a better position to appreciate him right now, given that I've spent the past season of Supernatural defending the plot usefulness and general amusement value of a recurring character who is a totally self-absorbed amoral thief. *g*

Yeah, I have some serious admiration for that man.

I know Gan won't be around forever. Please tell me I at least get a whole season of him?

Yes. But don't forget B7 seasons are only 13 episodes.

Jenna's outfits are seriously one of my favorite parts of this show. I can usually count on her to look fabulous even when all the other costumes in the show are eye-poppingly terrible.

And yes, Gan is entirely deserving of warm affection -- he's just that kind of guy. I still have no idea why the priestess randomly decided to kiss him, but I was amused.

Avon's snark just gets better and better. I honestly wasn't sure at first if I didn't like Blake better than him, but now there's no question (though Blake still has his good moments).

LOL. What I want to know is, whoever built the Liberator--were they human? Cause the clothes sure seem made-for-humans. *g*

Yeah, I was like, "Good taste in guys, priestess! *I'd* kiss Gan!" You know who Gan reminds me of? Chris Cwej. Less with the looking-like-Apollo thing, but I have a similar love for both.

Hmmm, Blake is still beating Avon in my personal likability scale.

I can tell that there are fireworks waiting to happen between him and Blake, and that should be fun.

Many people think that's the funnest part of the show, really. :)

Also, yay for the Gan love! The guy doesn't get all that much, but he deserves some. :)

Not like that! *g* Although, yeah, after this ep (well, okay, actually after a certain scene in The Web which made me chuckle at Avon) I have to assume that a majority of fic (both gen and slash) focuses on the Blake-Avon relationship. Am I right? Cause dang, there's interesting potential there.

Gan's a sweetheart. Seems like he may be a rare breed in this 'verse, so I'm going to love him as long as I have him. :-)

Luckily there's a massive variety - something for absolutely every taste and every character large and small - but yes, the Avon-Blake relationship is the biggest fanfic obsession, followed by Avon-Vila (which will make wonderful sense as you watch a few more episodes).

Avon-Vila, huh? I get the impression that Avon doesn't notice Vila much, at this point. But I'll be watching. :-)
