Inaugural post here! Thank to Brit for letting me have access to this comm.

five. ben geller

I loved the episodes with Ben in it. We kind of saw him grow up but the version played by Cole Sprouse is my favorite because he's had some awesome moments with Ross (and Rachel).

First Episode: The One That Could Have Been
Favorite Episode: The One With All The Candy
Best Quote:
ROSS: So, Ben, you uh, you know what holiday is coming up, don't ya?
BEN: Christmas.
ROSS: Yep, and you know what other holiday is coming up?
BEN: Christmas eve.
ROSS: Yes, but also Hanukkah! See, you're part Jewish, and-and Hanukkah is a Jewish holiday.
BEN: Santa has reindeers that can fly!
ROSS: Right, um, but, on Hanukkah, Hanukkah is a celebration of a miracle. See, years and years ago there were these people called the Maccabees.
BEN: Jingle bells, jingle bells.
ROS: Okay, that's right, yes, but on Hanukkah, uh, we sing 'Dreidel, dreidel, dreidel, I made you out of clay.'
BEN: Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer...
ROSS: Okay, it's not a contest.

four. tag jones

This is a cheat because most of my love for Tag comes from my love of Eddie Cahill. I didn't really like him at first but the moment he geeked out when Rachel impulsively gave him the job was hilarious. It was a little like when Rachel had a crush on Joshua because she kept hinting she liked him for the longest time. Tag and Rachel had some awesome episodes as well when they were dating.

First Episode: The One With Rachel's Assistant
Favorite Episode: The One Where They're Up All Night
Best Quote:
TAG: And I never used to be able to just talk to girls in bars, but I got like 20 phone numbers last night.
RACHEL: That’s great! Wow, so Joey must’ve really taught you some stuff huh?
TAG: A little.
RACHEL: Yeah?
TAG: How you doin’?

three. mike hannigan

I love Mike! Paul Rudd is hilarious and he played Mike to perfection. He's such a great match with Phoebe and he gelled really well with the group, you forget he wasn't always there. He was only in for the last two seasons but he was pretty much a fixture throughout those. I'm really glad he and Phoebe got married because they're so cute. Also the episode with him and Ross hanging out was one of the funniest episodes ever.

First Episode: The One With The Pediatrician
Favorite Episode: The One With Rachel's Phone Number
Best Quote:
ROSS: Shouldn't the pizza be here by now? I mean, they said thirty minutes or less. Well, how long has it been?
MIKE: Eleven minutes. And now twelve. So, do you like the beer?
ROSS: I do. I do. Although, it's actually a lager.
MIKE: Huh. What's the difference between beer and lager?
ROSS: I don't know. We could look it up.
MIKE: Things are about to get wild.

two. janice litman

I'm pretty sure everyone agrees that Janice is one of the first people that pops into your head when you think of non-regulars. Her laugh and 'oh.my.god' is part of the history of the show and so famous. I love how Chandler kept going back to her but hating it, Joey and Janice's day of fun, Ross' out-whining her, and her willingness to sing at Monica and Chandler's wedding.

First Episode: The One With The East German Laundry Detergent
Favorite Episode: The One With The Giant Poking Device
Best Quote:
JANICE: Because I know that this isn't the end.
CHANDLER: Oh no, you see, actually it is.
JANICE: No, it isn't, because you won't let that happen. Don't you know it yet? You love me, Chandler Bing.
CHANDLER: Oh, no I don't.
JANICE: Well then ask yourself this. Why do you think we keep ending up together? New Year's? Who invited who? Valentine's? Who asked who into whose bed?
CHANDLER: I did, but...
JANICE: You seek me out. Something deep in your soul calls out to me like a foghorn. Janice, Janice. You want me. You need me. You can't live without me. And you know it. You just don't know you know it. See ya.

one. jack geller

Who doesn't love Jack Geller? He is the ultimate in embarrassing family member. I love the entire Geller family and he's had some classic moments with the main six. I love how he came over to Monica's after her break-up with Richard to make sure she was okay. I also love how he says some of the most inappropriate things and especially when he just keeps talking and talking.

First Episode: The One With The Sonogram At The End
Favorite Episode: The One Where Rosita Dies
Best Quote:
ROSS: Dad, dad, dad, I'm talkin' about the whole uh, baby thing. Did you uh, ever get this sort of... panicky, "Oh my god I'm gonna be a father" kind of a thing?
JACK: No. Your mother really did the work. I was busy with the business. I wasn't around that much. Is that that this is about?
ROSS: No, no, Dad, I was just wondering.
JACK: 'Cause there's time to make up for that. We can do stuff together. You always wanted to go to that Colonial Williamsburg. How 'bout we do that?
ROSS: Thanks, Dad, really, I ju... you know, I just, I just needed to know, um... when did you start to feel like a father?
JACK: Oh, well, I, I guess it musta been the day after you were born. We were in the hospital room, your mother was asleep, and they brought you in and gave you to me. You were this ugly little red thing, and all of a sudden you grabbed my finger with your whole fist. And you squeezed it, so tight. And that's when I knew.
