it's exactly that, plus sometimes you really need to be in a certain mood to make it work. The funniest thing is that after that (or at least for me) you can't dissociate the song from the part you wrote.
*grins widly* then *grins even more widly* then *Burst out laughing* Half, no Three quarters of what I'm writing I didn't experience!!! Usually the only thing I really did experience are the deepest feeling, but the rest is pure imagination, so don't worry you're not alone ^^ and that's the fun in writing right? Being able to create a world on your terms, entirely functionning because of your brain and working because you add true feelings into it. +^^+
It's so funny (damn we're really the same.....I'm so glad about it *hugs*) I did the exact same. Went to my room, shut the door, put the song on replay and wrote till I couldn't anymore. I remember my mum coming in and asking me at some point if I was ok, and after a few seconds to regain "consciouness" and to shake the sad feeling again I was able to save my work, shut the music off and go back to life. But I do love those moments too though because it feels like you're really into it, and it has something magical and beautiful attach to it, in my point of view. ^^
(and OMG ranting again please stop me! *physically making me back off the keyboard* ^____^)
