so i think i have been bitching and moaning all week about how broke i am and how tired i am. friday came around and i powered through it. i had a 8am-2pm shift, then a long break to a 5-6pm telehealth session. but starting next week i'll be working an average of 30 hours, 32 hours if i can make it so that i can qualify for benefits soon.
i was really stressed all week but as the week flew by i relaxed. i think i have a problem of building things up in my head to be worse than they are and it puts me in a more negative mindset than is necessary. i think a lot of people have 8am-5pm jobs but i feel completely destroyed by an 8am-2pm job. lol but i think it's also because it's a fairly active job. i have to follow my consumer on campus and last week he wanted to visit the dorms which is like 8 bajillion steps DOWN which means there will be 8 bajillion steps up!!
i kept saying are you sure that looks tiring to come back up but he insisted on it. so we did. and then when heading back up the stairs he was like...this is tiring. LOL.
but so far the weekend has been really nice. yesterday i went to my brother's place because he is moving out to west covina (hopefully moving in with his long term girlfriend lol but i am not sure) and he donated his mattress to me and jason and a nice tv stand shelf thing. we rented a u haul and drove there and helped my brother move things and then went home and unloaded the mattress from the uhaul and dumped our old mattress. i was really tired because i hadn't eaten much yet but after resting we felt better.
then johnny asked if we wanted to hang out so we went out for a bike ride with him to the santa anita mall. we took our electric bikes and he used his regular bike and he was biking quite fast! it was a lot of fun because i rode on the back of my bike because jason wanted to give me a ride (^_~) and i was just chilling. huntington drive is not bad for biking and it was a very nice time. we got mcdonald's at the food court with a coupon (5.39) and then rode back home.
i was quite thrilled because johnny just came over to my place. we left for the mall. we got to the mall and decided to walk the bikes through it instead of parking it outside because, despite having bike locks and chains and an alarm, we were still worried about leaving the bikes unattended for too long.
i think jason was a little nervous about bringing the bikes into the mall and getting in trouble for it. but he was game and we went in. pretty soon after entering, we actually were approached by a mall security guard dude and we were like "oh so sorry should we take them back outside?" and he said "no no, i just wanted to ask you about them because i'm considering getting one myself." this lead into a long-ish conversation about HHO generators, which are generators that convert water into energy and how innovations like that are quickly and mysteriously snuffed out because the Corporate Powers that Be can't allow gas to be overtaken by something as cheap as water.
then we chilled in the food court a while and i don't know. it just felt very comfortable. i didn't feel pulled back and forth. it felt natural. i think it was good that we had a set activity and that we all enjoyed it.
it's so nice having monday off. i should probably visit my mother tomorrow. currently i'm at linh's house with jason chilling on my new surface keyboard cover, mouse and pen. it's a gorgeous color the keyboard is a darker blue than i expected but the mouse and pen are a gorgeous blue-grey color i can't get over it aah and it matches the lid of the cup i got as well bwahah! (^o^)
today was a very pleasant day as well. i used a 25 dollar credit i had with uber eats and got pizza and now jason's playing some halo with his cousin. i'm feeling pleased ^^
