NCIS 2x20?? Cover Story

Apr 11, 2007 08:53

I think this has been my favorite episode this season simply because the sheer amounts of nerd love. My thoughts are behind the cut. Read on if you dare.

Firefighters!  A profession that is high up in the list of sexiest careers (found somewhere on yahoo. Everything is nice and dandy (false alarm):: gasp:: blood! Roll Credits!

.-.
Okay coffee shop my first thought was that we would see Gibbs barking orders at poor helpless teenagers Note: Never mess with the people who handle your coffee. See Here. Obviously Gibbs knows this rule because instead we see McGee. Apparently he has been having trouble working on the sequel to his novel. Sigh been there. The coffee house worker calls him Tom and apparently is a big fan of Deep Six. ::sigh is it wrong that I know he's somehow involved two minutes in?::

Tony is gasp acting mature and McGee checks to see if Gibbs is watching not a big Tony/Tim shipper but there is some wonderful interaction in this episode.
(when asked about a drinking game) Tony: What did you do at MIT?
McGee: Study
Yet oddly enough we discover that Tim made up a drink that was found in the victim's house. The murders are connected to Timmy's unwritten book  ::weird noise NCIS makes before commercials::

.-.

I felt so bad for McGee I hate it when people I know read things and not say anything.

.-.

I will not even mention the secretaries running abilities because if I was being chased I would sadly run the exact same way :(

.-.

Another wonderful scene with Tony and McGee

Tony: I'm using muscles I didn't even know I had (FANDOM! Get your mind out of the gutter)

Is it wrong that I think that stealing the typewriter ribbon is really clever? You have to wonder about all the people who are trying to get a peck at the 7th Harry Potter.

.-.

Landon (stalker psycho) is trying to hurt Abby (or Amy however you want to look at it) because he misinterpreted part of Tim's ribbon. The team comes in guns a blazing. Under Gibb's pressure McGee assures time that he and "Amy" are getting married. Love how he asks about the wedding date when he is being lead out.

.-.

Abby then says that there is no way Amy and McGregor (??) can ever be together. I honestly hope she means the characters because I would gladly put away my slashers badge for this cannon couple. As I mentioned over in the Numb3rs section: geek love is the best love there is.
