Lightbulb moment
I always knew there was a way to filter LJ better, I just never quite got around to taking the time to figure it out. But as I add more friends I become more uncomfortable about spilling my problems all over the poor souls who couldn't possibly care, and there are people whom I like a lot but who have a tendency of posting a lot of negativity, which I find weighs me down, so I have finally worked out what I'm doing. Just have to go back and change the permissions on my past entries, now. Yay.
