Destiny
In an effort to talk about something less fraught than usual, hello! I have had a crazy idea :)
I have this friend who is a great artist and animator. I have this short story. I have this other friend who is already technically astute and interested in doing more development for iPhone and iPad.
And my brain spoke to me one day and said, "Lo, go forth and empty thy credit card, for..." (yes, it always talks that way)... "for great interactive art is their destiny, and how wilt they find it but for thee?"
So I coerced them all into turning my Christmas children's story into an ebook for the iPad. Okay, so I coerced them with cash that I don't really have. And fair enough, we will need to make a fair wee number *cough* of sales just for me to not end up paying it off for the rest of my thirties. But! It's exciting! And it's due to be done before Christmas! Yay!
I have no idea what will happen, and certainly if anyone has ideas for marketing I would gladly hear them (in email pls), but I'm excited to be forging ahead with something I believe in, despite the risk. Yay! :)
