I really like the conversation they have here, and the imagery at the beginning of how Kagome fits into the landscape (literally) of the western lands. Nice job!

The idea behind this was that the lands echo the power of the ruler. It has a borderline sentience that connects with the ruler himself thus forming an invincible line of defence... :)

Any enemy within the Lord's mind is an enemy of the land.. It also makes it easier to monitor his people from within his home.. :) :)

Thank you so much for saying so.... :)
I was worried Sesshomaru seemed too OOC in this.. :)

Welcome to the community!

I really liked your assimilation of the prompt so beautifully within this piece. I could virtually feel the peace and plenty radiating out of your gorgeous writing. Kudos!

What an absolutely perfect way to use this prompt! Wonderfully written and I absolutely adore the mention of Inupapa. What a sweet moment between the two though, peace and the companionship feel was absolutely wonderful. You know how some couples don't feel like companions? This felt like both. So excellent job!

This is my idea of an idyllic romance.. :D
I'm so glad you liked it.. :)
This was based on so many "what if's" and "would be's" that I thought it would seem completely crazy... Thank you for saying so.. :)
