Out with a Bang!

Last day before spring break and I turned my classroom into a night club. I took in the Kaossilator + Altec Lansing, and I had kids dancing on the desks... no joke. I played "Insomnia" twice and we were all sweating by the end. One kid was strobing the lights (switching them on and off rapidly), and we were dancing. My TAs (CSUN tutors) were having a blast too... watching the craziness that is Capt. Q in action. They both want to own a Kaossilator now, although really, who wouldn't want to own one after playing around with it for a while?
After the school day was over, I headed off to get some acupuncture from my favorite Needleman, James. That was very relaxing, and then I rolled on back to LC. I tried to take a nap (because was severely underslept and had been working 15-hr. days), but I couldn't because I was too hungry. So, I took myself out on a date to Portobello's... fetuccine tuscany with beef ragout! Mmmmmmmmm.
Then Axo and I went to see Fast & Furious. The theatre was packed and rowdy. Before the movie even started, a couple of dudes were hanging out in the aisle with the supersized popcorn & drinks calling out, "Where the fuck are you?!" During the movie, random members of the audience started volleying the "SHHH!" sound all over the theatre before one of the members of what appeared to be a biker gang yelled out, "Shut the fuck up!" The ladies in front of us were audibly drooling over Vin Diesel (Good think I had Vin sitting next to me! ;-) [My husband's such a hottie!]), and the guy next to us was adding commentary to every thing in an Agador Spartacus accent. But DAMN! did I enjoy that movie!!! It's almost wrong how much I enjoyed that movie. The action sequences were fucking GREAT! I enjoyed every last minute of it and couldn't wipe the giddy grin off my face for like 15 minutes afterwards. I love being entertained.
And this morning I set up a Facebook page.
