You do such a good job of showing how Sango feels about Miroku. We see her jealousy with Koharu but she denies it. She wonders why he never asked her to bear his children. It is not till he tells her that she is unique amoung women.

Thank you! You can see in that whole arc of the manga how she gets more and more upset about Miroku but constantly denies her feelings. I think when Miroku and Inuyasha asked her to protect Shippou and Kagome was when she started wondering did anyone see her as woman and not just a slayer.

Shippou did tell her that she was beautiful, but she did not want his praise.

*sigh* What a lovely picture of Sango's conflicted emotions. I don't think we get to see nearly enough of this part of her in canon (she's usually more busy angsting over Kohaku, LOL).

She does spend an awful lot of time angsting over Kohaku. LOL A lot of the Sango/Miroku relationship comes in patches. You really have to read through to find the different nuances. Maybe she uses Kohaku to not think about her feelings.

Awe. My heart hurts for Sango reading this. She's so tough on the outside but on the inside she's just as insecure about herself and love as the rest of us. Thanks for such a nice reflection on her character :)
