Well today I decided hey lets call for a drivers test tomorrow. Then the times the guy gave me were bad. So I asked were their any openings today. He was like I have 6:15 open

The Carriage Accident

Hi, This is the first time I've really made a comment on this type of forum, but I just had to let you know why. I was in St. Ignace around the same time as you were on vacation (Aug. 4 - 10). My family and I were eating dinner at the Driftwood Restaurant and some people were sitting behind me in the next booth. I overheard part of a conversation about someone in the family being hurt in a carriage accident on the island and subsequently hospitalized. I really wanted to stop and ask some questions as to what happened, but I thought that would be extremely rude.
I was concerned because my family and I were planning to go to the island and have lunch at the Grand Hotel that Monday. We would also be taking a carriage taxi to the hotel. To say the least, I was a little uneasy about the idea after hearing just a little about your situation. The next day I tried to get some info from the internet about the accident. It was very difficult to find a news story about the accident. I searched and searched until I stumbled across your journal. I did not tell my family about the incident and I prayed that our use of the taxis would be safe. Indeed our trip to the island was pleasant and without incident as most are, I suppose.
I do have one question. Was it you or your family and/or friends who had dinner Sat., Aug. 4 at the Driftwood?
In closing, I hope your mom will fully recover soon. I will say a prayer for her. Congratulations on passing your driving test. I hope your classes go well this fall and you have success in getting a car. I pray that the carriage company will do what is right and will soon settle with your family. I will check back on your page in a few days to see if you had an opportunity to respond to my post.

I'm not quite sure, my sister and my mom may of went to the driftwood if that was in St. Ignace. Since Sat., Aug. 4th we happened to be off the island to pick up my dad, and admit my mother.

We are all healing slowly and we would go back on a carriage island in a minute but with a different company.
I hope to change my cast and braces this week to a different ttype.
