Just posting another entry because I don't post as much as I should :)
Lately I've been writing a lot of Blood Moon, a story which explores all sides of vampires regarding humanity, and choices. It's mainly horror genre, with a snippet of romance. you can find it on my fictionpress ( http://www.fictionpress.com/~iyeshana
In the following excerpt, the main character (Adora) has made her transition from blood-drinker to human:

"The blood moon could not frighten me now, but other things did. Outside the cave, mobs of people came into view. Scared people, upset people, angry people, loving people, but all of them were... people. This war, a battle the vampires had been the initial cause of, was killing people. And I was one of them, someone who was not strong or powerful, despite knowing all of the blood-drinkers’ weaknesses. I was someone who could die.
Jolene followed too, of course, but only to push us out. As Audrich had taught her, she was not afraid of the light. When the humans backed away, she sauntered forward, bringing us ahead with her.
“See?” she shouted to the crowd. “Some of us are weak enough to turn back to their original existence. These traitors ” -she licked her thin, red lips- “Will be fighting on your side!”
She pulled me up into the air with one arm, and then thrust me into the crowd. I screamed with pain as blood, human blood, streamed from my paper-thin skin."

ooh scary right? maybe not, but it IS my first horror-genre novel.

also, lately I've been writing journal entries almost every night about what I do during my day and things. Any advice for a novice journal writer?

I got a haircut! my hair is much lighter now, without the blue bangs and a brown 'outline' around it. It's also very short, much shorter than before. I enjoy having this hairstyle!

What would you like me to put in my blog? daily ramblings, journal type entries, things about writing, or what?
have a wonderful day ^^
