I cannot stop these tears that fall as I lay here, my Kagome holding me close. My life, which had once seemed damned and meaningless is suddenly full of hope and...happiness. When did I ever think I would be happy?
How in the world do I deserve this woman from the future? I don't know that I do, but I will spend my whole life loving her and giving her everything she deserves because she is truly my everything now.
I gaze upon her face and I am struck with the beauty of love. Love brings everything to life and gives everyone a new start. Love understands, love is patient. Love is Kagome. I know that now and I am truly blessed.
