[Well, perhaps that wasn't the best idea after all. But after that man had disappeared- leaving him with even more questions then he started with- and that stupid.... thing constantly staring at him with that doofy face, Linebeck's patience had grown thin. So naturally after its fifth whine in no less than five minutes, Linebeck instinctively found himself reaching towards what he assumed to be the neck of the creature to shake it in annoyance. This, of course, startled the once passive creature and it ended up darting off in a hurry, Linebeck being thrown off the creature's back and hurled into a mess of nearby vines.
So now he was here, trapped in this tangled mess of greenery as he stared off in the direction of where the creature had ran off to.
After a lot of wiggling, he accidentally turns on the device he had pocketed before he had left his pod and it ends up catching the last bit of his struggles:]
