A little dirt on me.
1. I pick at my fingers. A lot. I pick them to the point when they'd bleed and it really hurts and at the worst I have to hold a wad of tissue down on it so that the blood would stop flowing. Several times I've been scolded for this and Jerome even takes my hand to hold just so I'd stop doing it. I don't notice when I'm doing it. I only notice it once I've done the damage but it provides such great relief to me during stressful times.
2. In connection with that, I like peeling stuff. Peeling paint, peeling bark, peeling wood strips...as long as it's destructive and it can come off in one big piece, I'll go for it; but no, peeling fruits and vegetables I do not like.
3. Giving Santi a bath is one of my most hated chores. Normally I squirm my way out of it and just have Josiah do the honors. Bad Ate, I know, but hey, when we had the labrador, I was the one giving her baths, and she had been heavier and bigger than I'd been!
4. I step on the back of other people's shoes because my strides are too big, and sometimes, I do it on purpose so they'd know that they're walking too slow (well, at least for my taste). For details, ask Stick.
5. I need to eat more fiber and drink more water.
6. I don't edit anything I write unless it's for business class. When I write an essay, I 'edit' as I go along, but I don't read the entire thing once I'm done.
7. I'm a pack rat. I have papers in my room going all the way back to grade school. I swear, my room.
8. When it comes to grammar I get this unbearable itch to correct people. Most of the time I just bite my lip lest I lose my companions. This act of restraining myself is the bad habit.
