Health Report
For those who were concerned, I'm happy to report that my mother made it through her surgery with flying colors. They did a complete mastectomy, removing both breasts and the lymph nodes, and so far all tests have revealed no cancerous cells remaining. This is her second bout with breast cancer, and hopefully her last.
As far as I'm concerned, I've finally been scheduled for my own surgery on October 11th. Here's hoping that after a year of pain and walking with a limp that I'll finally be back on the road to normality.
