Why I am happy with today
I guess my 'gratitude' is sort of an agnostic "Dear God, if there is a god, here's what was good about today".
0. The plumbing only cost $120 to fix. Last time it was $1200!
1. The flank pain from the UTI was manageable without drugs.
2. No return of the fever (yesterday's exciting development!)
3. I got to watch a couple of good Mythbusters episodes.
4. My appetite was there, not very big, but there.
Tomorrow, my aranesp injection at Dr. F's office and a visit with Dr. B the oncologist.
I do regret not feeling well enough to go to the New Parents Night at the High School. Tomorrow is Orientation Day for The Karate Teen.
My scalp feels weird, kind of itchy, but not really. I wonder if that's the warm-up to saying adios to the hair.
