Well, it's a little less than half an hour before the eclipse begins in my neck of the woods and a little over an hour before the total eclipse and it is already darker than hell and storming like a mofo. So much for having a free ringside seat to the event of the century. I really feel bad for those people who came in all this way to catch it and especially those camping.
Sorry people! The eclipse (viewing) has been called on account of rain.
OTOH it did stop raining long enough for me to get home. But then it opened up again.
