Good news. My Tax Refund hit my bank this morning so I'm going to be so relieved to hand a check to my landlady and pay something on my electric and cable bill today.
On a fannish note, I've been sliding back into military perv lately - mainly Black Hawk Down and Generation Kill. I rented GK from the library (I get it for a month!) and this is the first time I've watched the DVDs with all their extras. Most of which are just freaking hilarious. The best so far was the commentary for ep 4 with Alex Skarsgard and James Ransome and the director. I guess Ransome had some problems with Lee Tergesen at the beginning. I nearly fell over when he described Lee as a 'bossy bottom'. *G* Also, they compared themselves (these 5 who shared the interior of a Humvee for the better part of 7 months) as a family. Alex was the concerned and sometimes stern father, James was the talkative and often hyperactive mother, Billy Lush (Trombley) was the child who seriously needed therapy, Pawel (Hasser) was the dog that hangs out the window all the time and Lee was the annoying neighbor's kid that won't go home. ROTL!
I still have a lot more to watch. It's really interesting.
