So! We promised the pups a safari for the summer, and due to THINGS that have gone on lately, we've kinda pushed it back and back, but unfortunately school starts on the 23rd, and Hunter's schooling isn't exactly like ours where we can just take off whatever as long as we show up for testing and whatnot. That said, NEXT WEEK, we leave off for the ( Read more... )

Oh? Is there still time for Celes to go over for a playdate before you leave, or would that be pushing it? She really wanted to have a day with Hunter before school started. I think they have different teachers this year.

I can't take care of your animals, I'm sorry. The rabbits absolutely go berserk if they smell something that smells like a dog.

...Is that what I have to look forward to in the future?

... Maybe. I dunno. It may have to wait until we get back.

YUP! Sounds fun, huh? :D I'm more cut out for it than you are, though, so you may have issues.

That's alright. They'll still see each other at recess and lunch, I'm sure they'll be okay.

Oh, it does sound fun indeed, but we'll only have the one baby, Celes, and the two rabbits. It's not going to be as chaotic as your situation is currently, I hope.
And what exactly do you mean by saying I'm not cut out for it? Being a father of two isn't that hard, is it?

Dude, we live like, not that far from each other. Just bring her over, or come grab him and run off. We don't care, just as long as we know where he's going, who he's with, how to get in touch with them, ect. ect. Typical parent stuff. When he gets his chores and homework done, he's pretty well free to do whatever the fuck he wants as long as it's legal and safe.

I didn't say you're not cut out for it! I just said I'm better cut, like you're baloney and I'm prime rib or something. ;D I don't know, never been a father of two. Only of one, and then three.

You live down-town, so it is a bit of a drive. The children from the neighbourhood have a small sandlot game going, and if Hunter has his gear, would he mind playing a game or two?

I believe I should take offence to being called bologna, but I'm going to let this one slide. I have been gaining weight, despite running in the morning and the bricklaying I've been doing at work. Is there such a thing as sympathy pounds?
