(no subject)
Well, today was a GOOD DAY INDEED! Between classes being out and no one here having a job, we've been incredibly bored. Bored enough to go to all these little boutiques around and browse for things to entertain us. The kid and I found a place that was selling stuff from last Halloween. Everything was marked down to pennies on the dollar. We bought a whole box of little instant costumes that came with face paint and gloves and ears and a tail. They allow you to dress up as a bunch of different animals. And we cleared out their costume stock from last year, too! We got a whole bunch of stuff for like... a couple munny and some change. :D
Hunter was a dashing, daring fox, Uncle Marly was a rich and powerful crow, I was a devilish and sneaky raccoon, and Mama was a luxurious, delicate Siamese kitty. LOTS OF FUN! Apparently Mr. Fox had to save Madame Cat from King Crow and fend off Master Thief Raccoon. Who knows, we just went with it. He has a wild imagination and it was fun. X3
And the best part about today? Getting called in to get all my books and everything for MY NEW JOB! FUCK YEAH. I don't officially start for the next month, but they're paying me anyway and I have to study and learn the protocol and manuals and all that, and every week I have to go in to the local branch to take a test. I was kind of scared, though, because of my record (for those that don't know, let's just say I have an interesting criminal record attached to my shadow). At first that DID bring up a problem, but they liked my resume so much, they ran a Criminal check under my father's name, instead of the name I grew up with. And that name didn't have jack squat on it, so YAAAAAAAH! 8D FWEEEEEEEEE!
