Noo! You wrote resume instead résumé (I also would have accepted resumé.) Resume is to continue, résumé is a summary of ones job qualifications. Without the accent they are pronounced differently and have different meanings. I'm going to cry now.
I am well aware of the proper accents, however I do not know how to type them on the keyboard and am too lazy to find out. Send me a list and I'll try to do better.
Were you using a laptop or a regular desktop pc? It's hard to do using a laptop. Using a PC hold down the ALT key and type in 130 using the numeric key pad on the right side of the keyboard.
I should have known, you're very good at writing the accent on my name online. Well here's an easy step to get on accent using a laptop.
