So the rumors are not just rumors. Bradley is leaving Kerr. She isn't retiring. She's just moving to be closer to her children and grandchildren in the Dallas area. So she will spread her joy in Irving ISD. No replacement yet. Also, no replacement for the French teacher. Apparently the math department has filled one position. Not sure if ( Read more... )

oh WOW!! man i was feeling bad that everyone was taking summer school to avoid having mrs bradley as their teacher senior year...i was thinking man did i make the wrong decision by enjoying my summer to the fullest?
well i guess not.
i never had a problem with her but anyway, hopefully she enjoys her new area.
i dont know why i felt compelled to write that.

but hey, be happy you get a vacation...i dont think i'll be getting one for the 3rd or 4th consecutive summer in a row.

MAN I WANT BRADLEY'S JOB.

Hopefully whoever they get next year will flake so I can replace her for a bit :-)

Arkansas (I always laugh remembering a little girl in my class who read it like the other state 'Kansas') scares the bejeesus out of me. Lynchings? No thanks, I'll pass.

You're hair is awesome ;-)

lol, well the things i did for fun in hot springs are not exactly family appropriate.
there is an amusement park called Magic Springs, prices are a little high, but its very geared for children, nice waterpark and a couple really cool rides. One is an exact duplicate of Serial Thriller.
If you get a tourist map or whatever you should be able to find West Mt. Its got some beautiful scenic overlooks and a few trails. Lake Hamilton and Lake Ouachita are nice for swimming if you can find a public beach. Theres a couple movie theatres in town, other than that.....not much.
If you like the spa thing though you can tour one of the old spas on bath house row, get some water from the springs, and they even have a working spa that uses the same techniques as the old ones. Apparently its only like 40 dollars for the basic treatment, and the ladies i know who went said it was really nice.
