It wasn't until I saw World Of Color - Celebrate (The original World Of Color, not celebrate). When the last stream of water finally fell. I knew I was in love. My heart lifted higher than it has ever before. My smile was so wide I'm sure you could have spotted it from the across the room. And I'm pretty sure I was a bubbling mess that no amount of tissues could wipe away all my tears of joy away. I finally found something that just made me so happy again. Found a place that makes me forget about all my problems. If only for a few hours.
Since this trip I've completely changed who I am. I do a ton of Disney facts post. Because I want other people to be interested in this park and I want others to go. I'm in the process of starting up my own YouTube channel where I do Disneyland history and facts. Just because I like learning what happened here and how it got to where it is today.
I've also written handbooks, tips, and guidebooks for many families and solo trips for people who are making their way there for the first time. Or a return to the park after haven't not being there in a long time. Making sure they catch as much as they can in their short trip. If any of you guys need help with your Disneyland trip. I'd be more than happy to. Free of charge.
I've also taken MANY, MANY friends there. Every time hoping they see the magic I found.
I don't know how to end this post. So I'll just end it with Walt's dedication speech to the park he made when it opened.
"To all that come to this happy place: welcome. Disneyland is your land. Here age relives fond memories of the past, and here youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future. Disneyland is dedicated to the ideals, the dreams, and the hard facts that have created America... with hope that it will be a source of joy and inspiration to all the world."
