SURPRISE! i'm leaving.
alright, well yesterday as you know, was arlie's surprise birthday party. i got over to her house at 5:20 because we were supposed to be there at 5:30, and i hung out with sallie for a while, and had to almost push my dad out of the house to get him to leave. then lid showed up and we ate junk food until FINALLY katie and devin show up, just in time too. When arlie's brother calls from the car, we hide behind the couch and jump out at her. and the first thing that she does is go "I HATE YOU GUYS!" but she knows that she liked it.
Later that night, Zack (arlie's brother) had friends over, and we were trying to get them to let us down in the basement to watch the grudge down there, but eventually we gave up when they SHOT AT US WITH A BBGUN! so we watched it upstairs :) and oh dear lord we were screaming at everything. and then once it ended, arlie started screaming at sallie "TURN THE LIGHT ON TURN THE LIGHT ON" so sallie leaps up to turn the lamp on, and as she turned away, the lamp knocks over and the light flickers and turns out--and we were all screaming bloody murder. And after that, we literally didn't do anything else the rest of the evening, we sat around...got on the computer...sat some more...until like we all finally went to bed...or at least everyone else did. I was on the phone with alex, and I wasn't really happy. I wasn't mad at him or anything, just really down in the dumps about how I would have to leave early and I wouldn't get to go visit him or anything before I left. So, like he said i'm going to have to talk to my mom--and seriously if i've ever needed her before, it's now. I dunno what i'm gonna do with myself for a week...probably run up my cell phone bill to kingdom come. After I realized that it was 2 am and I was waking arlie's parents up with my late night/early morning phone conversations, I decided to say goodnight to him. And apparently I fell asleep on the couch--and Mrs. West had to wake me up and move me to the sleeping area again. It's just little things like that though, that make me miss him completely.
This morning Arlie's dad woke us up with the coffee maker, and we were all super pissed at him, because it was 6 am. but eventually we just all slept until 9:30--so it was all good. then dad came and got me, and now here I am. Mom's picking me up at 1--and I'm going to miss you guys so terribly much. Have a great spring break...all of you guys. and i'll be back before you know it...hopefully. because god knows how I love and miss that boy.
