I am so looking forward to more. This plot is so interesting--an original twist on an old idea.

And then this:
"You're gonna have to suck it up and hang your dignity out to dry because no one just falls into some awesome part that changes lives on their first time out."
A little Chris Colfer meta, maybe?

You know, it didn't start out that way. Originally, I had a bit in there explaining that one of the guys she went to high school with (intended to be Jesse St. James) had been doing okay for himself as an actor, but he was always posting whiny updates to Facebook about having to play a leaf in a Fruit of the Loom commercial, or seventh raisin from the right in a commercial for Raisin Bran, but I cut it because it felt kind of clunky. :/ I almost took that bit out when I realized how it could be taken, but I was to amused to let myself. :)

I'm really glad you're enjoying it. :)

The touch of the fingertips IS as sexy as it gets. And surprisingly erotic even though there is no genital contact. Satana's comment to Porcelain cracked me up, yeah no one falls into a part that changes lives their first time out. Or has such a part specifically written for them...unless their name is Chris Colfer. Looking forward to the slow burn followed by spontaneous combustion between Porcelain and Velvet. It's obvious there's already some chemistry there. So glad you are writing this again.

I've been writing it for weeks, just not in as sustained bursts as I normally like. :(

That line was kind of an accident, but I enjoyed the unintended meaning quite a lot when I noticed it. :)

Finding out how they both respond to one another has been really interesting. This has already taken a couple of small detours from the original plan, but I've been happy with the surprises it's given me. I'm glad you're still enjoying it. :)

God, part of the challenge in writing this is trying to evenly show where each character is, and that one line - I hated not being able to do that part from Kurt's pov. He's this weird blend of scared, nervous, relieved, and vaguely offended, if you can believe it. ;D

Glad you're still enjoying it!

LOVE THIS. PLEASEEEE update again soon.

Also this: "You're gonna have to suck it up and hang your dignity out to dry because no one just falls into some awesome part that changes lives on their first time out." - Made me say out loud: "YEAH, Unless your name is Chris Colfer or Darren Criss" heh. ;)

Completely unintentional, but I was too amused to cut it. :>

I'm updating as soon as I can - life's gotten a lot more complicated, and juggling this with all of the other stuff I'm working on hasn't been easy. :( I'm glad you're enjoying it, though! <3
