I ♥ having time to myself. Yesterday, after another fun-filled 8am practice with coach Piggy and her talks about her "significant other," I got to sleep. And read. I read a whole book yesterday because I've forgotten how much I like it after months of Sparknotes and skimming through chapters during homeroom. :)
I wanted to go to Drifter's last night but nobody was up for it/could go. Ah well, Amanda and I will rock some other time this vaca. The evening was spent with a trio of goofballs...nick, tom and brian. Nick and I hung around a bit then headed to his dad's house. We called up Niels 30 times and left a bunch of messages on his computer, and where was Biletch? After Tom and Brian arrived, we made a little detour to Shop 'N Save, much to the chagrin of the other passenger. And then..The Last Samuraaaaaaai. Fucking excellent. "This is a questionable activity, I don't know if I should kill myself or not...wait let me consult the hari kiri handbook!" Tom is a speed demon.
Running the 3000m today. In Durham at six or so. 19 laps of paaaain.
