the weekend at a glance...
This weekend had some ups and downs, but overall i'd say it was really fun.
Friday, i only had to go to 2 periods of school, then me, JP, meredith, alyse, and every pop culture class went to the Omnimax/R&R Hall o' Fame. At the omnimax, we watched this SWEET movie made by Stomp... it was so cool. I'd love to do that someday, or learn how to breakdance, but i'm getting away from the story. next, we had time to eat, and and that time i got this disgusting cheese fries that were not worth the 4 dollars they cost. Then we all headed over to the rock hall, stood in the lobby forever, and finally got our scavanger hunts. We started in a group, then me and alyse broke off to do the scavanger hunt. I indulged myself in the Jimi Hendrix room and i also got to see how small Britney Spear's wears her clothing.
We left, i went home, then came right back to school for our meet against Mentor. I'm not gonna lie, i was pretty nervous about winning, because last year the boys beat them for the first time in about 10 years. So the madness starts... i was swimming the 50 free, 100 free, 200 free relay and 400 free relay. I got my best time in both individual events, and our relays did good enough to get us some points. the only bad thing was right before the 400 relay i started to feel real sick, so i had to keep jumping in and our of the warm-down pool to clear my head. Anways, turns out Mentor isn't that good anymore, so we beat them pretty bad. After the meet, we went to Laurens for a swim party, which mostly consisted of chili, DDR, wrestling, and people trying to steal my keys. I went home feeling satisfied.

Saturday was good too. I called up eric and charlie and we went to see White Noise. We thought it was really good, but the crowd was HORRIBLE. just a bunch of Ed's kids who were trying to impress their girlfriends by acting like dicks. THEY LAUGHED WHEN A WOMAN JUMPED OFF A BUILDING!!!!! Thats when all three of us decided we'd start rating movies not by how good they are but how good the crowd is. 1. Along came polly (haha... Grim Reaper!) 2. White Noise. After the movie, we went to erics, charlie left, i stayed over, and around 12:30 i get a call from Tyrone saying my house got tp-ed by the girls swim team. I don't worry, and go to bed.
Next morning, my phone rings at 8:30... (dad)"Jeff, you need to get home right now, the yard is covered in toilet paper, there are trees all over the front stairs, they got the inside of the garage... just.. just come home now!" shiiiiit. i go home, clean for 2 hours in the blistering cold. I finish, take a much needed shower, then get a phone call from joe telling me that operation kidnap-payback is going to happen. At 4 o'clock, everyone congregated at Caribou, and all the guys had their assignments on girls to tie up and blincfold to put on sleds and push down edgewater hill. Me and mitch had meredith and alyse, but alyse left, so instead it was mitch driving and me trying to subdue meredith who struggled like crazy. She got her bragging rights cause it took about 3 guys to take her down... but when we finally all got to edgewater, neils car was stuck in the grass. SO, mitch leaves, we drive around, the plan gets scraped. Long story short, we eat donatos then go to Courtneys surprise b-day party.
The party was real fun. her face was so funny when about 20 people flowed out of the little sitting room into the dining room. the night consisted of playing ten fingers, eating, watching maura chew funny, more wrestling, and accidently hitting the play button on the cd player.
monday morning sucked... mlk day practice. came home, slept, ate, did homework, then went to joes to work on a hellish lab report. now i'm freezing in my "heated" house, and i'm about ready for the week to be over already.
