A picture of Stitch being his usual, naughty, self! ;)
Happy November!! I've decided I need to sit down and write this darn journal entry I've been meaning to do for forever now! Heh. ;P
Things have been really great lately! The first week of October, my mom and I went to visit our relatives in Michigan. My cousin Lindee is one of my most favoritest people on the whole planet, so that was definitely nice. Lindee and her brother, Landon, live together in a lake house now, so we spent the whole time partying while I was there. I got to meet a lot of their new friends, whom I all majorly bonded with and adored! They kept making me the designated booze runner...so two nights in a row I had to go in the liquor store and buy everyone what they wanted. So, there I am, this 5'3" girl carrying out 6 different types of booze both nights, hahaha. The cashier probably thought I had a huge problem. ;P The girls are all planning to make a road trip to come and see me in the Spring! I really hope they stick to that plan! Other than partying, we also spent time with the family. We went shopping and had yummy dinner every night. We were only there for a few days, but it was a very nice getaway. :) Sadly, I didn't get any pictures this trip 'cause I forgot my camera.
I've been dating this great new guy named, Alex. I really wanna post a picture of him 'cause he's so cute...but I feel like a creepo, haha! We don't have any pics together yet, sadly. :( We started seeing each other in early-mid September, I wanna say. He is my age (25), and is originally from Tennessee, but he's finishing up his last year and a half of law school here in St. Louis. He's really into theatre and gaming. He's a big nerd like me, and we've spent a lot of our time playing video games and watching anime together, which I love! We just get along so well, and have such similar personalities it's kinda crazy! Even after our very first date we had about 10 different inside jokes. All we do is clown around and laugh the entire time we're together. It's quite nice. :) We're taking things slow, so I don't think we're official yet, but we may as well be. This is the first healthy relationship I've been in, where we didn't rush into being overly obsessed with each other, and I'm kind of loving it. It's just really laid back and we see each other about once a week. Hopefully it will continue to grow into something bigger!
I have some other big news....I have a new kitten (as seen above with Stitch)!!!! I'm sure most of you have seen me post about her on Tumblr already, but I will, of course, have to spam you here as well. ;) She is 4 months old, and I named her Lilo, to go with Stitch! I got her from a pet rescue place. She was from a big litter of kittens that had been dumped off there. She and Stitch get along pretty well. He was super jealous at first, but now they play all the time, and it's so cute! She is just about the sweetest little kitten you could ever meet. I don't think even the biggest cat-hater could find it in them to dislike her. She's definitely the more well-behaved of the two kitties. But that's to be expected, since Stitch takes after his namesake. ;P Oh, another cool thing about her...my vet said that usually, white & orange, cats are almost always male! So that makes her extra special! :)
So, very soon, I'll be performing a brand new Burlesque piece for the first time in almost 2 years! I'm very nervous, but excited! I don't know if I'm going to get back into it majorly or anything, but an old friend, Ami Amore, contacted me and really wanted me to be in her show! It's coming up on November 12th, and I'm hoping someone can video tape it for me so I'll be able to post it on Tumblr! I was also recently involved in another Burlesque show, but I was chosen as one of the "freak-show" members! I got to dress up as, Brunhilda the Bearded Lady! I had so much effing fun that night! I got to have my own little mini stage and everything. I spent the whole night talking in a Russian accent, harassing people as they walked by, and dancing and singing for tips! The whole show was this huge, gypsy-circus-vaudevillian-Burlesque-extravaganza! The main stage had all the various performers...the dancers, the acrobats, the fire breathers, the bands, the comedians, and various other acts. Then, upstairs, is where they had all the merchandise being sold, and all the freak show members performed. I've got a lot of really funny pictures from the night!
This photo was actually on the
"Riverfront Times website!"
Other than that...I had a really horrible flu virus last week. I was on my back, puking for 3 days straight. It was awful. :'( Luckily, I'm finally better now. Yesterday, my mom and I went to the new Disney store that finally opened up here in St. Louis! We had a 30% off coupon and got lots of goodies! I also totally lucked out, because I went to look at the zodiac mugs....and who do you think the character was for Gemini...??!! Stitch, of course! Haha! I swear it was fate. ;) Here's a picture of my haul!
