Soooo...how was everyone's Valentine's Day?! I hope everyone had a good day! Whether or not you're single or taken, it's always important to celebrate the people we love! Not that you can't do that any day, but still. ;) I know a lot of people don't really like V-Day, but sometimes I think a holiday like that can serve as a little reminder to show how much we appreciate the people in our lives. I hope everyone reading this knows how much I love them!
My Valentine's was fantastic! Quinn surprised me with a giant teddy bear, a dozen roses, and a Hello Kitty Pez dispenser. I couldn't believe he got that much for me! I actually wasn't expecting anything because I know he's always so busy with work, I didn't think he'd have time to get me anything. Which totally would've been fine with me, I was just happy to spend time with him. But yeah, that was definitely a pleasant surprise to walk into his room and find all that sitting there waiting for me! Before I left for Florida, Quinn was having a rough week, so I surprised him by bringing over his favorite Indian dish, along with some homemade cookies I baked, and a little love letter with 20 reasons why I love him so much. ;) So, I think his presents were a way to do something extra romantic for me too! I felt kinda bad though, 'cause I only got him a bunch of chocolates and a Stitch pen from the Disney store in Orlando, hehe. He enjoyed them, nonetheless. ;) After we exchanged gifts, Quinn took me out to dinner at Pasta House and then I took him to see, "The Roommate." The movie was pretty cheesy, but I expected as much. I just adore Leighton Meester, so I had to see it! Plus, it was still entertaining. The whole night was very romantic.
Let's see...yesterday, Quinn and I had another fun date! The weather has been really Spring-like these past few days, so we took advantage and went to the St. Louis Zoo! There were so many baby animals, it was really neat to see! There was a baby Elephant, baby Kangaroo's, a teeny tiny baby Capuchin Monkey, a baby giraffe, and a baby Leopard! It was so nice getting exercise outdoors in the sunshine, too! I definitely lucked out when I came home from Florida...the whole time I was gone it was like 3 degrees, and then when I got back it was all warm! Muahaha! I hear it's supposed to snow again next week though...booooo! ;p After the Zoo, I took Quinn to my favorite Thai restaurant on the Loop. I've been meaning to take him there forever, but I never got around to it because it's so far away. But luckily, it was right near the Zoo, so it worked out perfectly! The food was so freaking amazing! It's always a treat going to the Thai Cafe. After that we went and saw, "Gnomeo & Juliet." The movie was pretty stupid, but it was cute. It was definitely a fun day!
Mmmmm....shloppy kisses! ;p
Don't worry! His head wasn't stuck! ;p
No paparazzi! ;p
