If you are like me, that means horrible boring pointless day. No sleep, no fun, no Lesley. Well you prolly wouldnt be worried about the no Lesley part... well then again you prolly would cuz shes so kool... yea whatever...
Anyway, It wasnt like that at all. I had gym with Lesley which was kool, and I managed to get all the homework I skipped over the weekend done, so everything was going well. That and most my classes were really lackidasical today. Seemed like it couldnt get better.

When I got home Lesley and I jokingly talked about me coming over to fix a computer of hers that wosent working right. But... on a whim... I asked my mom. She yelled at a while for me trying to lie, but then I showed her the AOL conversation and that the computer was actually broken. So... SHE LET ME OVER! w00tz0r! So I went over, spent about 30-45min doing actual computer work, and then through a series of great coincidences (Phones, Her dad, Kid not leaving, Kid leaving and no one notcing) we ended up waiting on the stairs for like an hour or maybe two Mrs. Hill to take me home. So we played like dodgeball, sitting on the stairs trying to uh... like... do stuff... without getting caught. It was really neat. We didnt do much obviously, but just the constant risk of being caught made it really fun. Eventually I did have to go home but... alls well that ends well.
Now when I got home, I tried (on another whim) that Mafia game I couldnt get to work for the last 2 weeks. Well I tried setting it to a window instead of fullscreen. This didnt make it work, it still froze, but I noticed something strange. I window popped up that said "Sorry your 3vix Trial Period has ended. 3vix will now shut down." So I thought, Hey! Maybe the games intro movie is trying to use 3vix for some god aweful reason to play, rather than the standard player incorporated in the software! So (On my third and final whim of the day) I went into add/remove programs and got rid of 3vix. Sure enough the game worked great! I had so much fun spending the last 3 hours of my day working my way into the Mob. If you care to learn exactly what I did (yes I am that bored) check my LJ CUT.
(((PLEASE REMEMBER THIS IS THE 1930's... Thats why things are so wierd))) so the game starts off, really wierd. You see your character, Tommy Angelo, get off the trolly and go into a cafe. He talks with a detective breifly about how he knows how to get all the Mafia kingpins, even the Don Sallieri, put away for good. So I'm going, what? I thot you work for Sallieri!?!? Apparently Salleri wants him dead for some unknown reason. So he tells the cop, if you have time, Ill give you my story. ***FLASHBACK*** You sit outside a taxi, smoking a butt, all around just minding your own buisiness. When suddenly there is a huge crash on the steet to the left. Out of curriosity you see to Gangsters, one of which shot, stumbling from the wreckage. They demand you get in your taxi and drive. So (at gunpoint of course) you do. Finally I get to take control. I drove the taxi like a madman, dodging the tommygun fire from the car chasing me, and the cops, traffic, pedestrains, and buildings too. Eventually we escape to Sallieri's bar. The thugs run into the bar, chased by the baddies, who are shot upon entering. So Mr. Sallieri himself comes out with a wad of cash and says if you ever need anything to stop by. Well sure enough, a week later, after some taxi driving (I was forced to spend 30min driving the taxi around too, not fun) some thugs from the rival mafia start beating on your car. Once you tell them to leave, they pull guns. Woo hoo! I love driving taxis. So you run like hell (trying not to get shot (people and cars make good shields)) and eventually stumble into, who wouldda thot, Sallieri's Bar. He saves you from the psychos, and convinces you to work for him. First job, smash their cars. Vengance is oh so sweet. Can you say molotov cocktails? Ok so that was fun but nothing real intersting yet. So your taking a normal drive with some buddies (Paulie, Sam, and Luigi). You go to pick up some protection money from a motel. You and Luigi stay in the car while Sam and Paulie go talk to the owner. Shots are fired, for apparently no reason, and then Paulie comes stumbling out, with a bullet wound. Paulie explains that the rival mafia boys are inside, trying to claim the protection money for themselves. After a little bit of thinking, I figured going in the front door to save Sam was a bad idea. So I went around back and found a fire escape. Climbing up I notice a guy taking a dump through a window. I climbed in another window, then broke into the bathroom and beat him to death. He happened to have a tommy gun for me. It was easy to take care of the 3 or 4 pistol toting goons downstairs after that. So I saved my buddie but to my misfortune, one surviving thug escaped out the door, with the money. He grabs a car and starts to fly away. So Luigi jumps in the drivers seat (finally I dont have to drive) and I hang out a window with the tommy. And didnt take long to chase him down and get the money back. Then it goes back to the cafe, and he begins to explain to the detective how from their it was easy to gain trust from the mafia men. When asked how he was able to kill so easily, your character responds that he has no remorse. I doesnt set out to kill, but in the event that he needs too, he has no problem with it. Anyway there is more but Im done for now. More in the future.
