State Law: Speeding Fines Doubled in Work Zones
Man, I am so tired. It has been forever since I slept in. I feel like I have so much to do lately. Between work Mon-Fri from 9-5, a 30 min commute to work, learning japanese, taking care of my family, and working on computers, I haven't had a single day to sit back and chill in what seems like forever. Luckily, Ben and I are planning on taking 2 or 3 days off this week and going on a hardcore camping trip somewhere north of here. We got some nice packs and are starting to plan our rations. I think we are going to leave after work on wednesday, camp on the mountain base that night, hike and adventure on thursday, then go for the summit for friday, and come back on saturday. It should be fun. This of course assuming we find a difficult enough mountain to climb that will occupy us for 2 or 3 days. If all goes according to plan it should be an awesome time.
Lesley and I got together last night and watched a couple of movies. We watched Saw at her house, which is a really great movie. I had already seen it but Lesley hadn't. The story and the twists and just... Ah its an awesome movie. Very well written. People who think this shit up.... Woo!
We went to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory after that. We saw it over at the Galeria, and made it in just as the last preview was playing. WOO Procrastination! Made it just in time. But the movie wasnt that great. I have heard some praise for the movie from some people but I didnt find it to be particularly amusing. It was kinda dull through the bulk of the film, and the laughs were sparse and far between. That and they made Wonka out to be some kind of wierdo MJ wannabe child rapist with no childhood kinda guy. It was all around just kinda wierd. I didnt really like any of it. But then again I am pretty picky about films in comparison to others.
I am at work now, just got finished with my pizza and I am wasting away the rest of my lunch break. Working on the front yard of the building today, weedwacking and bush trimming. Tomorrow we are going to buy and plant some flowers to make the place look nice. The front of Eikos looks like shit now.
