Just one of those weeks
I have had alot of fun lately, but things just havent been working out in my favor...
Saturday I was on my way to work. I was skateboarding down a hill when some psycho ran a read light. I wasnt really expecting it so I had to swerve, I ended up hitting the sidewalk and going flying. I have road burn on 7 places on my body, and a couple of bruises. Nothing to serious but its a pain in the ass anyway and it was akward going to work all bloody and torn up.
Sunday I was supposed to go see Lesley but my parents went all gay on me and I got stuck home... Not a totally big deal but I really wanted to see her.
Monday the group was going to King Richards Faire. I eventually made it and it was wicked fun not to mention I got to see Lesley again (!!!) but I had problems even then. I was supposed to take the early train to BW to meet bens mom for my ride and junk. It left early because of the Labor Day schedule and I missed it. I took the T for one stop to Quincy Adams from Quincy Center (seriously like 30 sec train ride) and it ended up costing me 6.75. Quincy Center is the only Red Line stop that requires a Two Token fee to get on the train. So whatever, I pay it. 2.50. Then I get to Quincy Adams 30 sec later. Its the only station that requires and EXIT fee. You arent allowed OFF THE FUCKING TRAIN without paying. 3.75 Got no choice, so I pay it. Then Bens mom comes in, who was nice enough to drive all the way up to meet me. She comes into the parking lot, picks me up, and then on the way out the guy says 3.00 for parking. She never even got out of the damn car! The guy tried to say she was in there for 24min but even if she was, like she got on the train went somewhere and came back within a 24 minute time frame. Anyway, It was my fault she was there so I paid the fee. 6.75 to ride the train 3 miles. SOB.
KRF was kool, Ill have the picks online after I get them developed. I had to leave early which sucked cuz I wanted to be with Lesley more but what can you do.
Today I tried to sneek into BR and see some friends. It kinda worked. I met everyone in the Caf for like 15 min.. It was cool and surprising Lesley was awesome. I love her a ton. However, First Period the only safe place was a study with Lily. It was fine I guess, chatted with Lily and waited for Period 2. Period 2 offered no safe haven. So I went outside and sat on a bench for an hour. Woo fun... 10 were left until the bell for period 3 was going to ring, AKA 10 min until I get to go to study with Lesley. I went into the mods to grab a drink from the bubbler cuz it was hot. I grabbed the drink, then when I openned the door to go back ouside, Peabody was outside looking for druggies. I tried to go back into the mods but he saw me. He asked what I was doing. Obviously I was "skipping class" so to prevent a problem I told him I wasnt a student. He kicked me out of BR. I left, waited till I heard the bell ring, then ran to the back of the school hoping to catch Lesley on the way to class to let her know what had happened. Instead, I found Mr Peabody sitting on a rock waiting for me. "How did I know? Get off my property before I call the police for tresspassing. You dont belong here." I wasnt going to push my luck any further. I walked to the train station and waited 30 min for the next train to come and went home. It wouldnt have been so bad if I had at least gotten to tell Lesley I had been caught and was leaving. Instead she has to go the rest of the day, and her Fieldhocky game, not knowing exactly what happened to me. Im sure she will figure it out but Its like I stood her up. I feel bad.
Anyway, I got work from 4-10 Today. Im gonna have to go to work... Which prolly means I wont get to talk to Lesley when she gets home.... Which makes me feel even more bad... *sigh*
Things never work out like they should...
