[OOC] Infoposting, Part 2!
Okay, time to finish off infoposting. My old characters now, only one of whom will be on the island the next couple months!
Dave Nelson
*Dave's still just a normal kid from 1981 Wisconsin. Who is secretly Canadian. And tap dances. Has a stage act throwing knives. Does ventriloquism. And a lot more random canonical hobbies. And dated a secret pop star from the future until mere hours ago.
*He has trouble refraining from making jokes about situations, especially if he thinks they're being even slightly overblown. His friends and loved ones surely appreciate this.
*Dave's an optimist at heart but an increasingly defeated, world-weary realist at head. Which is why he broke up with his pop star girlfriend when she's going to be off doing lots of famous stuff and not really having much time for him. It saves them a lot of potential badness down the line and gives him a chance to maybe use any newfound confidence from having a girlfriend for months to have a more active social life and make new friends.
*Does not actually have that much newfound confidence in terms of making friends. Most of his confidence has gone to his smart mouth, which may not help matters.
Bruce Wayne
*Just graduated after using Fandom High as a way of learning and perfecting many skills, including appearing outgoing and gaining popularity. Everything he learned will end up being useful.
*Will be entering sped-up time once he gets to Gotham in June for the 10 year anniversary of his parents' deaths. He'll be on about 3x speed and will figure this out quickly as he keeps in touch with people.
*Eventually, he will end up living out the flashback sections of Mask of the Phantasm. If you don't know that movie, you might be a little surprised how things go for Bruce. It should be fun.
*He is extremely rich due to inheriting his parents' fortune. In addition to school, once he gets to Gotham he'll be doing fundraisers for the Wayne Foundation. So don't be stunned if there are invitations to random gala events for some of Bruce's friends from Fandom. And if you want to help him be charitable, please, shoot me any ideas. :D
Zayne Carrick
*Is an ex-fugitive Jedi washout hippie who rejected a later invitation to become a Jedi Knight, was a Robin Hood-style criminal for a while, and has Force-based weird luck.
*Things balance out for Zayne due to a defect in his connection to the Force. His connection is relatively weak, but when he uses it, unlikely outcomes occur. This can range from anything like someone being in the right place at the right time to someone being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Zayne might be saved from death due to an explosion, or the person trying to kill him might be killed by an interceding third party. He might be able to stage an elaborate ruse, but an evil Mandalorian scientist might work his way into Zayne's confidence with a simpler long-term ruse. Whenever he affects an outcome with the Force, a rebalancing will need to happen somehow.
*Due to having way too much death around him, Zayne's decided that he doesn't trust anyone with the decision to end a sentient life. Not himself. Not the Jedi. Not the officers in a war going on back home right now.
*Will very shortly be unexpectedly drafted into that war.
*Take those last things together and Zayne's going to have a fun canon catchup for the next couple months, starting this week!
*When he's in Fandom, he owns the MCA building, Goodvalor's Little Bivoli, and teaches. Two of those things will need to be covered for the next couple months. I'm thinking about giving the jobs to Yakko temporarily. God help us all.
