la dee dee. its wednesday and ive just drinken (is that even a word?) my morning coffee and read a little more bell jar ... the source for that wonderful quote above ... i was having a miniscule mental breakdown two nights ago, the night of our secret santa party, i think, and suddenly decided to pick that up again ... and i absolutely love it (again.) our little holiday get together was fun, though ... hadas had me and surprised me with the amazing (literally fantastic) purse from her work that i nearly had a heart attack over two weeks ago ... sooo cute ... so that was nice of her ... ryan came over after awhile, and zach too, so we all played catch phrase, which was fun for awhile but soon got out of control ... eric started going crazy on us and acting like the guy from anniversary party whos obsessed with playing charades correctly, which was funny cause zach and i had just watched it the day before. my favorite line of the night was when krystine yelled "hadas!", trying to get her attention during the game, and eric, thinking it was krystines turn and that was the clue, yelled back, "jew!" we nearly died laughing.
i have to work from 1 to close today and then we're taking krystine to get her tattoo for her birthday, even though its not til monday. i personally think we should take the surprise even further and blindfold her on the way there, and maybe drive in circles just in case her directional skills pick up, but i dont know if she'll be into that. i got a call from her in the middle of the night begging me to tell her what the surprise is because hadas wouldnt. no such luck, though ... my lips are sealed! (except on here.)
i guess thats it for now. the weather god of california has randomly (and quite unfairly, if i do say so myself) decided to torture me and bump up the temperature to the mid sixties for these last few weeks before christmas ... lame ... all i can say is i cant wait for portland ... only five more days!
