(no subject)
i came to the conclusion tonight that work has become my life ... when you start saying "ima CUT you" or "shananagins" or "lets try that at 14" you know youve been in one place, particularly buffalo exchange, for too long. right now im sitting here trying to get everything work related out of my head but when i close my eyes all i can see is oscar wearing his brown jacket, or amanda saying y'all, or monique mumbling to herself at the end of the night and laughing hysterically ... so, in short, i think i might actually be going crazy.
along those lines but not really at all, i took my car in to the dealership this morning and walked home afterwards (its pretty much right down the road) and it totally felt like i was in a combination of good will hunting and home alone ... something about the way the sun was hitting made the neighborhood look like southie (spoken with an boston accent, of course), then i stopped at the store to get some water and on the way back thought my bag was gonna break, kinda like that scene where little macaulaty culkin runs home scared cause he saw his creepy old neighbor who later ends up saving him from the bad guys when he was out buying a new toothbrush. it was uncanny, i tell you.
i guess thats it for now. krystine found out today that her visa to stay here was denied so now shes switching lawyers and starting her case over and has to go back to canadia til january. very very sad. i hope it gets approved this time.
i think im gonna go watch almost famous. i bought it at goodwill yesterday for two dollars. how much fun is that?
