I mentioned that I wanted to enter monthlyinspo this month and I actually managed to do it! It took me so long because I only really had a plan for ten icons (the latter half) and then had no idea what else to do. Now I even finished before the original deadline. I love the light on these! 6, 6, 9, 12 are so cool, also I really like negative space on 16, and composition on 17, 19 and 27 :)

I love how rich are the colors. Very cool idea to be inspired by the album covers. Of these I especially like how you used the colors in 16 and 18.

Of the others my favorites are 3 and 11 :)

Omg, I'm in awe of the last row of the monthly set. The album cover inspirations work so well, I can totally see them all! 16 is soooo gorgeous, you executed the pale pastels of the Lady Gaga cover to perfection. 17 is such a cool icon and a great take on the cover! Love the colors & composition. The P!ATD icons are fantastic as well. Wow this reminds me of how much I liked this band as a teenager. I've only heard one of their newer albums and it was great so maybe I should check what else they've got. Anyway, to the icons - 2 is extra pretty with the way it's just swimming in this light pink glowiness, and the text pieces are perfection additions to the composition. I also love the extra eyecatching coloring on 7! 10, 11, 13 and 23 are amazing as well. Fantastic job with the challenge, I love how many different takes on it you came up with!

I started listening to PATD when I was 15 or 16. Then their second album came out and I absolutely hated it lol
Other than Pretty.Odd, I'd highly recommend their (well, it's just Brendon now) entire discography. I rediscovered them after seeing a gifset from Miss Jackson on tumblr and was surprised how good they'd become. I mean, the first album is still pretty solid considering they were teenagers themselves.
