do to the fact that the SATs are this Sunday and i really really don't want to fail [even though G-d might have other plans for me], i'm going to attempt at studying. KAPLANS/SAT stuff will be taking over my life for the remainder of this week. therefore, i probably won't be able to tell you this any other way:

no, it's not technically new because it's not really taking the place of another one. it's more like...fresh

I understand what your saying, but it still is technically new. If you buy a shirt from Old Navy. This shirt is now new. It's not new in its comparison to your other shirts; it's just new because you just got it.
