(no subject)
Ok, so I had the biggest epiphany/moment of stupidity in my life yesterday. Minding my own business and suddenly it occurs to me that I confuse Muhammed Ali and Colin Powel all the time. Not in the way of getting to two mixed up. I know Ali is the Parkinson’s boxer (Float like a butterfly, Sting like a bee) and Colin Powell retired General and former Secretary of State. But I mean confused in the strictly physical sense. Like I have to do a double take to keep them straight.
I’m an idiot. But I’m having a momentary boost of self-esteem for some reason so I don’t mind everyone laughing at me or calling me names. I know I’m an idgit.
For the good news, I’m coming home on Saturday. I’ll be home for about 8 hours and then to Spokane to take some stuff over for moving. I’ll be back probably on the 10th or so and I want to play. I’ll have to go up and play with the kids in Bellevue/Seattle at least one day that week but that leaves 6 others for playing. Yippee! I’m so ready to be home and get back to school and my “normal” life
I have a soccer clinic this week after work for two hours on just conditioning. It will be so good for me but I think I might die. The heat index this week is about 115. Meaning that’s how hot it feels outside. Yep, I can’t wait to come home
