Camp was awesome. They were short one counselor so they made Abigail do it, thus leaving an open spot in the staff house, so I gladly moved in with the three of them (Tina, Manya, and Alisa). Tina and I shared and bed, and by Tuesday night were pretty much inseperable.
My day went as follows:
Tina woke me up at 8:30. I went to the cafeteria to set out drinks. I stayed after everyone was gone to clean up the cafeteria. After cleaning, I had to go straight to the tabernacle for General Assembly to play/sing and for devotion. After GA I had to help Mrs. Manya with the choir. (I was the lead alto, by draft, not choice. But we all know if she hadn't have asked me to help her I would have been pissed.) After that was done I had to go back to the cafeteria to help set out drinks for lunch, then I'd have to stay and clean up again. After cleaning I'd have to rush to get up to the tabernacle for our daily two o'clock practice. After practice, I maybe had an hour/hour-in-a-half to myself, before I had to go back to the cafeteria for dinner. Then, you guessed it, I had to stay and clean up and rush back up to the tabernacle to pray/practice a little. It was a hectic week, but I wouldn't trade it for the world.
The speaker this week was purely amazing. He was super funny. He stopped the service last night and called me to the middle of the stage to pray for me (in front of the whole camp). He prophesied over me, and that's all I remember.
I didn't get in the bed this morning till 3. Tina, Nicholas Massey, and I stayed up walking around/talking waiting for Lindsay and Lori to get there so Alisa/Manya/Tina/Nicholas could go home. It was fun. I offcially love her.
Can we go to the Maylene/ACB/Jonezetta show tomorrow??!?!!?!?!
