I was tagged on my first day here. hehe

The Rules:

1. If you've been tagged, write your answers in your own LJ and replace any question that you dislike with a new, original question.
2. Tag eight sexy people. Don't refuse to do that.
(It’s not that I’m refusing, I just don’t have many “friends” yet I’d want to put on the spot outside of the person who tagged me, or a couple who have been tagged by this one already)
3. Don't tag who tagged you.

Who sleeps in bed next to you?

William T. Bear, who has been my companion on and off since college. Christened by an ex boyfriend - who called him Willie when feeling naughty. Although, I would much rather have Colin Firth right now.

What's one of the strangest things that has ever happened to you?

Nothing truly strange is sticking out in my mind right now, which means either I’ve led a very boring life and nothing strange has happened, or my whole life has been strange and so it all seems normal to me. I tend to think it’s the latter.

What kind of magazines do you read?

I don’t read mags, except to skim the AAA magazine that comes out every couple of months to see if there are cool area attractions or museum exhibits going on. It’s how I found out there’s a group not to far where I live that get together once a month to have Regency period balls. I still haven’t had time to go yet, but I will one day.

If you could see one band in concert right now, any band, dead or alive, which would it be?

Bee Gees would top the list, but I’d also love to see ABBA, Queen, U2, Simon and Garfunkel

If you could have one super power, what would it be?

Apparition, I hate driving in LA, and have actually had dreams where I was late for work and decided to Apparate by jumping in the air and turning in slow motion while concentrating on my destination. But, I have to close my eyes tightly or it doesn’t work. It’s the new flying dream.

Name one odd item within five feet of you.

A ballpoint pen bent into the shape of Mickey Mouse’s profile.

What's your current fandom/obsession/addiction?

Harry Potter with a side of Jane Austen

Where would you like to go right now if you had enough money?

Back to England to visit all the places I missed before, and to see all the HP filming sites that didn’t exist back then. Italy to see all the historical places like Pompeii, etc. Heck, there’s tons of places I’d love to see, but only if I can go with someone who speaks the language so I don’t end up ordering bugs for dinner.

What are you most excited for?

The future. I love the idea of all the things that could happen in the future, and you don’t know if they will or won’t yet, and that’s exciting. My dream for the future is to meet my own Mr. Darcy like man who is kind and handsome and we have lots of sex and babies. I know my mom shares my dream as she constantly asks me when I’m giving her grandkids. lol

What websites do you always visit when you go online?

A handful of HG/SS fan fic sites, some LJ pages of my favorite authors, I check for updates on several Jane Austen and GWTW sites as well. Then I check Leaky and Mugglenet daily for HP updates. And news sites, I can’t watch it on TV very often anymore without wanting to throw things at it, at least online I can pick and choose what to know. hehe

What was the last thing you bought?

Comfy bras with support but no wires. Yay!!!

What's your favorite season?

Spring, for the colors. Summer, for the length of days and warmth (at least now that I’m in a new apt. with A/C.

Does the weather affect your mood?

Very much. I’ve got fibromyalgia and the cold makes me achy and stiff, which in turn makes me grumpy.

What is your zodiac sign?

Leo…roar! Very theatrical with big mane of hair, so it fits. But I’m not a Gryffindor!!!! On the contrary, I’m definitely a Raverin (half Ravenclaw half Slytherin)

5 things (not people) you can't live without?

Chocolate

Pizza (or cheese actually, I love cheese)

Internet access, it used to be TV, but now I can’t do without my fanfics to keep me from getting bored.

Books (I’m not an avid reader per se, I don’t like a wide variety, but there is a shelf of my many bookshelves that I would grab in the event of a fire that I can’t live without).

Cool, clean water - doesn’t matter if it’s for drinking or swimming or looking at, I love water.

Do you have any siblings?

One brother, 5 years younger, makes me laugh like no one else can.

What's something you'd like to say to someone right now?

Don’t sign the lease, let’s look for a better place than this! (I’m in a bit of a panic after seeing a potential location we might move the business to because it was all messy. I just have to remember that we can hire someone to fix it up first, but man, was it a mess - and it smelled).

What's your earliest memory?

Age three, was jumping on the side of the love seat and slipped and fell on a glass goblet that was on the floor…butt first. I don’t remember the impact, but have a very vivid, detailed memory of everything in the moments before and after (until I passed out from the loss of blood and woke up on an x-ray table).

Say something to the person who tagged you: Tonksie, thanks for being my LJ friend. I hope you can come visit us in LA on your next voyage home.
